NZ not affected by USA washing machine recall
On November 4 Samsung recalled 34 models of its top-loading washing machines across the United States due to a risk that when washing heavy items the machine may vibrate violently possibly causing the top to unexpectedly detach from the washing machine chassis.
Samsung has confirmed to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment that none of the 34 models affected in the USA have been supplied or sold in New Zealand.
For more information on the USA only recall you can see details of the affected models on the USA’s Consumer Product Safety Commission website.
