Damaged cords may overheat which is a potential fire or shock hazard.

What to do

Stop using affected AC cords. Go to Microsoft’s website at ttp:// for instructions on how to receive a replacement AC cord free of charge. Discard or recycle affected AC cords in accordance with instructions on website.
