Please recheck due to updates: Batch numbers 8608 – 8900 now also affected.

Under certain circumstances, the adaptor between the gas supply and the appliance may crack causing a potential gas leak.

Leaking gas may cause an explosion.

What to do

Immediately check the appliance rating plate for the Model Number (E-Nr) and Batch Number (FD). You can check if your cooker is affected using the website below.

If the appliance is affected or if there is uncertainty, immediately shut off the gas supply to the appliance and stop use of the gas cooker. The electric oven may be used safely provided the gas supply to the appliance has been shut off.”
