Cuisinart Food Processors with Riveted Blades

Date posted

The Hazard

The food processor's riveted blade can crack over time and small metal pieces of the blade can break off during use.

If the defect occurs, pieces of the metal blade may be present in the processed food, posing a laceration hazard.

What to do

Check the blade to see if there are rivets. This recall involves the riveted blades only.

If your blade has rivets, check the Model of your Food Processor, as shown on the bottom of the Food Processor.

If the model number matches the affected models, STOP using the food processor immediately.

Contact Cuisinart for a free replacement blade.
