The Hazard

The defect may make it difficult to remove a child from the vehicle in emergency situations.

What to do

Evenflo, through Tas Baby Holdings, will supply affected consumers with a free replacement buckle kit, with installation instructions. It is safe to continue to use the car seat in the interim.

The Problem

The harness crotch buckle may become resistant to unlatching over time with food and drink contamination.
