Haier top load washing machines

Date posted

The Hazard

Risk of Fire: The wires inside the machine between the cabinet and the washing bowl can become fatigued and fracture over time and cause arcing.

What to do

Find your serial number (see images) and contact Haier to check if you washer is included in the recall, and if necessary register it for free repair.

Until your machine is repaired, only use it if you are nearby to monitor it. If you have any concerns or smell smoke, turn the washer off at the wall and unplug it. Do not use the machine again until it has been inspected by an approved technician.
