The Hazard

Due to nonconformity in the fuel tank , during operation or while parked , it is possible that fuel can leak out of the fuel level sensor mounting area and fuel pump mounting area. Should a fuel leak occur there is a risk of a fire starting. This increases the risk of injury and/or damage to people or property

What to do

The official remedy for this recall is still being formalized. Customers will be notified by letter indicating the recall commencement preliminary advice , until official bulletin and parts are available to perform rectification . A further letter will be sent once the official bulletin and recall campaign rectification is announced . We therefore recommend owners to stop riding the vehicle until the corrective measures have been implemented. If you currently have or are experiencing a fuel leak immediately contact an authorized dealer and do not ride the vehicle. A scheduled update on the recall is indicated for May 2020.
