Expert authorities classify these azo-zolourants as carcinogens ans recommend that exposure be minimised. While this dye stuff is not banned for textile use in New Zealand, Just Jean is initiating this action as it does not meet Just Jeans' strict quality assurance standards.

What to do

Customers should cease using the product and return it to a Just Jeans store to obtain a full refund of the purchase price.
