KTM 50 SX, model year 2019

Date posted

The Hazard

Inspection of carburettor assembly components required to be conducted by authorised dealer. The carburettor cover may have been fitted incorrectly. Because the carburettor cover acts simultaneously as the upper throttle slide stop, if incorrectly fitted it may lead to the throttle slide sticking.

What to do

Consumers should immediately contact an authorised KTM dealer to arrange an appointment for their motorcycle. Consumers will be contacted by direct mail notifying them of the recall. Customers can find an authorised dealer using the dealer search option via http://www.ktm.com/nz/. Authorised dealers will complete a prescribed check of the carburettor under the manufacturers technical instructions . This check and workshop procedure is free of charge.
