LED Keyring torch (free gift at some vets & pet stores)

Date posted

The Hazard

Updated: July 2018
The battery compartment of your torch is not adequately secured, allowing easy access to the button batteries inside.

If young children gain access to a button battery and ingest it, they may suffer internal burns, which can result in serious injuries or death.

The button batteries can also pose a choking hazard to children under 3.

What to do

Stop using your torch and either safely dispose of it or return it to MSD Animal Health via the postal address below.
