The Hazard

Without the required fire hazard warning labels parents and caregivers may be unaware of the potential fire hazards and how to manage the risks.

What to do

Stop use and return and return the garment to NZSALE for a full refund.
If you have not already been contacted by NZSALE call or email Blake Sammut, Head of Member Relations, to arrange for the pre-paid pick up service.


Affected garments were available for sale between September 2014 and October 2015

The Problem

The garments fail to meet the mandatory fire safety labelling requirements set out in the Product Safety Standards (Children's Nightwear and limited Daywear having Reduced Fire Hazard) Regulations 2008.
