Date posted

The Hazard

Under certain circumstances, and when used with natural gas, the heaters can produce too much carbon monoxide.

High levels of carbon monoxide can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning and possible serious health affects.

What to do

Stop using your space heater and contact Aber living to register it for a free in-home modification.

When you contact Aber living please include your contact information (name, address, phone number, e-mail) and the model and serial number of the unit (found on the metal decal attached to the unit).

The Problem

The risk of releasing too much carbon dioxide is increased under the following conditions: heater not installed or serviced properly, flue blockage, operation of exhaust fans and/or if the room of use has no installed ventilation and with windows/doors are closed.
