The Hazard

Overheating could cause batteries to leak. When in contact with skin, leaking batteries could cause injury to the user.

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop powering the Loopz Fan with both USB and batteries, and return the product to Smiggle to obtain a full refund of the purchase price.

The Problem

While the instructions for using this product specified (i) usage under adult supervision and (ii) USB or Battery Operated, the product is being recalled because the internal mechanism may overheat if the fan is powered by both the USB and batteries at the same time.
